A History of the Simpkiss Breweries
First published in 1984.  The full Simpkiss story covering in detail the families four Black Country breweries; Royal Oak Brewery, Round Oak, Home Brewery, Quarry Bank, Foley Arms Brewery, and the Dennis Brewery, Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill.

The addendum includes the final days of the Dennis Brewery sell out to Greenall Whitely, and the consequences, details of the Wordsley Brewery, North Worcestershire Breweries, Elwell Williams, Smith & Williams, Delph Brewery, Edward Rutland, and Johnson & Phipps.

Holden’s Black Country Brewery
Published in April 1986.  Covers in detail William Rounds Netherton Brewery and their use of the Union Brewing System, the first recorded in the Black Country.  The takeover by Thomas Plant, local brewer Thomas ‘Tommy’ Booth, and individual pub histories.  Addendum update.

Batham’s Black Country Brewers
Published in 1992.  Probably the only brewer in England that has sold its weeks production before it’s brewed!  A cult drink in Black Country.

How it was first brewed at the request of pernickety drinkers in Chaddesley Corbett.  Addendum update.

Pub’s & Breweries of the Old Dudley Borough
Published in 1989   346 pages

In-depth coverage of all recorded public houses - over 445 - brewing victuallers, maltsters, coopers, and common brewers in the 'Old Dudley Borough', Worcestershire. Now reprinted, and improved, together with a four page addendum.
